English/Citizenship Ministry
English classes began in March 1996 and Citizenship classes began in June 2001. We help adults from other countries who speak other languages learn and improve their speaking and understanding of the English language.
Citizenship classes will take a permanent resident through the entire Naturalization Process from completing the N-400 application through study and preparation for the Citizenship Interview. Students must speak and understand English. Because the process usually takes only 3-7 months, students should attend a Citizenship class for 2-3 months before submitting an application to USCIS.
United Baptist Church is not having English classes at this time.
Citizenship classes meet on Mondays from 4:00-5:15 and Saturdays from 11:00-12:15.
